Brrrr - Winter has arrived and your pups are either loving the frigid temps and snow, or starting their hibernation inside!

Here are my TOP 10 TIPS to help you and your pup get through this winter season!!

1. Keep your dog warm with a cozy dog sweater or jacket when going outside.

2. Protect their paws from cold surfaces and potential ice melt chemicals with dog booties.

3. Limit outdoor time during extreme cold weather and provide a warm shelter or heated doghouse.

4. Increase their food intake slightly to help maintain their energy and body heat.

5. Avoid leaving your dog alone in a cold car, as it can quickly become dangerously cold.

6. Dry your dog thoroughly after walks to prevent them from getting chilled.

7. Be cautious of frozen bodies of water and keep your dog on a leash to prevent accidents.

8. Consider using a humidifier indoors to combat dry air, which can cause dry skin and other health issues.

9. Check for signs of hypothermia such as shivering, lethargy, and pale gums. Seek veterinary attention if necessary.

10. Provide plenty of fresh, unfrozen water for your dog to drink.

Sending warm vibes your way and give your dog some extra cuddles!
